This is Hilary from Acquafortis Astrology and this is the traditional astrology forecast for the week that starts from the 2nd to the 8th of December 2019. We start the week with a major change in the star meteo.
On the 2nd of December 2019 at 19:20 UTC+1 Jupiter, after a year happily roaming in his Sagittarius house, with much reluctance, enters the house of Capricorn and he will be staying there until the 19th of December 2020. This is a long transit that will set further the tone for the upcoming events in 2020. With Jupiter entering Capricorn we have now 4 planets in Capricorn plus the Lunar Nodes. This is quite a lot and which topics in our lives Capricorn represents, is really having a huge makeover and that is a simple understatement. Pay attention to what happens when Jupiter enters Capricorn. This is a story you are already aware of. It started back in January 2008 with the ingress of Pluto in Capricorn, then in December 2017 when Saturn entered Capricorn. Then in November 2018, we had the Lunar Nodes entering the Cancer-Capricorn axis bringing the ongoing eclipses as an added value to all of the above. With a lot of probability that area or topic in your life has completely changed since 2008 and Jupiter will further change the landscape.
Jupiter at least will bring some hope and relief but do not expect much, for two simple reasons. Jupiter is not in his top form. He is depressed in Capricorn because he has to abide by Saturn’s rules. And Saturn’s rules are very different from what Jupiter needs to be happy. The comparison is like you staying in a house where you are given a flea-ridden bed and food that gives you diarrhoea. As much as you would like to be great and help around you are not in perfect health.
The second reason, if the first was not enough, Jupiter will be sharing the house with the Demolition Squad of Pluto, Saturn and the Lunar Nodes who are not known to make your stay any happier… on the contrary, they usually make your stay similar to a boot camp. So as much as Jupiter would like to make things better the odds are not in his favour. And it will require from Jupiter a lot of hard work to get a single thing done.
Then just to make things clearer what the weather is, Venus on the 3rd of December 2019 at 02:31 UTC+1 meets the Lunar Nodes. Whatever is not of value any more now needs to go. These include people, things and events. Watch what happens. And since it is night time in Europe watch your dreams. Keep always in mind the 2008 story and its sequels.
Later at 06:22 UTC+1 Mercury in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn have a quick chat. This is a continuation from the Mercury Retrograde season. They have already met twice, on the 19th of October 2019, 10th of November 2019 and now. You might get to finally resolve something you have been working at during this period which has required a lot of digging around and the discovery of different realities you have never thought about. This is the final result.
Same day but later at 16:47 UTC+1 Venus in Capricorn quickly nods to Mars in Scorpio. Venus has placed her attention on something that has value. Mars in Scorpio will help her get it because Venus promised she will help him with something he has to do too. Focus on what you want. Is it of value to you? Yes? Then with a sure move go and get it.
On the 8th of December 2019 at 09:59 UTC+1 Sun in Sagittarius gets lost in Neptune in Pisces fog. As much as you may be enthusiastic about something, not all is really clear. And your exuberance might lead you in a rabbit hole. Cut yourself some time to rest.
Later in the day at 22:48 UTC+1 Venus in Capricorn not wanting to leave the Sun alone ventures in Neptune in Pisces’ fog. She sips some concoction and life seems so dazzlingly fantastic. Be aware you are wearing your rose coloured glasses. Enjoy it but just be aware that things tomorrow might appear completely different. Use the time to relax and escape. Neptune is offering us some illusory respite from the Capricorn-Cancer stuff. Might as well use it.
Summarising:
A week with a great shift in energy that welcomes us to the era of Jupiter in Capricorn with the demolition squad. Might seem like a wet blanket initially but as I said in the Jupiter in Capricorn video, it is all about forging virtue in dire necessity. During the week we have a certain go for it energy. Use it.
Sunday seems to be a perfect day to relax, have some fun, switch off the serious mode, go to the sea, museum or whatever helps you relax. However just be aware that what you might see, hear and meet could be a product of fantasy land.
