Write they told me (Mercury Cazimi in Leo)

Write they told me,

as if your life depends on it.

Your pain needs to seep from your heart to your fingers.

Write because it will bring events to life.

Words move mountains.

Write because your Mercury speaks from the heart.

It needs an audience to shine.

Write because words left unsaid cause malaise of the Soul.

Embodiment comes from within.

Write because words have the power to heal as much as to create and destroy.

Words are basic down to earth magic.

Write because your words are a connection to the Divine in yourself.

Something I tend to forget lately.

So, I am calling on you Thoth,

Lord of Writing, Magic, and Wisdom.

As you seek higher consul within the Eternal Light of our Cosmos,

Please grant me the gift of eloquence,

for this tongue has far too long been mute and arid.

Help me bravely find my voice and my truth.

As you enter the heart of the King,

please intercede on my behalf.

Let my fingers dance again,

as my heart whispers and my mind articulates.

Let them twinkle again in a joyous and sincere union.

May my words be again at Your service.

A prayer to Mercury as it meets the Sun in Leo in a superior conjunction 17th August 2020 at 17:07 UTC+2

A superior conjunction is a meeting, of this case Mercury and Sun, on the other side of the Sun. This conjunction we can’t see from the Earth because there is the Sun in the middle. The ancients saw this as the starting point of a new cycle for Mercury. The reason is because they saw Mercury conferring with the Gods in the highest spheres and so it had a wider and clearer vision of what is happening.

This is my personal prayer to Thoth, the ancient Egyptian God nearly equivalent of Mercury. Thoth was the beautiful mix of the mind with the Moon.
